These placemats have such a beautiful design. The fabric is really nice but I just wish they were a bit heavier. I love to quilt so i will put a cotton layer in with a cotton backing. If there is any wind at all they would blow right off the table as they are extremely light.

While I was expecting the material to be a bit thicker, I find they wipe, wash, and dry very nicely. I have learned to like the material and it works great in a home with 2 young boys who are 10 and 3 and not easy to please. They loved these and we use them often. When I put them on the table, the boys know we are eating together at the table. Hard to do in the generation of raising a family.
